Hey, Look Who Called: Wal-Mart!

We're hearing from many of you that Wal-Mart has apparently hired a telemarketing company.
A company called "Southwest Opinion Research" who claims to have been hired by "ECA" has its callers following a suspicious script. They are telling people that "Northcross Mall is empty and that the development would be good for our area."
Here is more of what you'll hear if you take their survey as repeated by one of our members:
"Q: Are you aware that the landlord has agreed to lease the property to Wal-Mart? Wal-Mart has met all legal requirements and has been given permission to move in, and they will have an upscale look and parking garages on the site and that all the other business in the Mall are excited and will have increased business once Wal-Mart opens. Are you aware that Wal-Mart will revitalize the entire neighborhood by moving into this location? Knowing all these things do you still oppose Wal-Mart legally renting the location?
That's real impartial. Not.
Based on how biased the script apparently is, Wal-Mart is clearly trying to influence opinion rather than obtain credible results.
To be clear, we are not the ones making these calls.
For the record, our survey was very successful -- and credible -- and you'll be hearing all about it very soon.
