RG4N Bazaar is Bizarrely Successful
How bizarre! The recent RG4N Bazaar was a success beyond even our best expectations. Between purchases and donations, we made over $3,700 on this one event.
Our heartfelt thanks! to all the neighbors who donated items, volunteers who organized it all, and everybody else who shopped or donated at the event.
The morning was full of activity and excitement, as bargain-shoppers and treasure-hunters negotiated and haggled their way to the the checkout tent. We were busy all morning long, right up to our noontime close. The early bird certainly go the bargain that day.
We couldn't have done it without our great business supporters. Charles Lokey, owner of Encore Records, Video & Apparel let us use his parking lot during a normal business day. Michael Ferweda of Zinger Hardware & General Merchant set up his red canopy tents for the concession and check-out areas. Duke Correa and Quack's 38th 1/2 supplied the coffee urns, while Dave Swainston brewed fresh coffee that morning. Rick Culleton publicized the event in the Discount Electronics ad in that week's Chronicle. We hope our supporters will share our appreciation by visiting and shopping these great Austin businesses.
