This Friday: Save Town Lake

It's sad that it's come to this, but yet another citizen group is suing our city to protect neighborhoods and stop bad development.

Save Town Lake is working to protect one of Lady Bird Johnson's most precious legacies in our city: Town Lake and the Town Lake Corridor.

This Friday evening (July 20, 7pm), Save Town Lake is hosting a benefit concert at Stubbs BBQ. Performers include Kinky Friedman, Bob Schneider, Jimmy LaFave, and lots of other local favorites.

This could be a fun opportunity to celebrate Austin-style while helping out a good cause. But don't stay out too late. We've got a protest to run the next morning.
