RG4N Op-Ed in Today's Paper

Today's Austin American-Statesman is running an op-ed commentary (login required, limited time availability) by Hope Morrison, vice-president of RG4N.

In it, Hope previews some of the information that will be presented at the big community meeting tonight.

Our concerns go well beyond Wal-Mart. No Supercenter-sized retailer is welcome at Northcross. RG4N envisions Northcross as a pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use village center, consistent with the city's New Urbanist direction for redevelopment. We want a redevelopment that meets neighborhood needs, with affordable grocery and retail and minimal traffic congestion. We want meaningful input on the Northcross plan.

Hope will be leading the community meeting tonight.
